These terms apply to your use of petrophysics.net and to any course, webinar or recording you buy from PETROPHYSICS Pty Ltd. By registering, booking or buying, you agree to them.

1. Accounts
Give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date.
Each account is for one person only.
Keep your login details private. You must not share them with anyone else.

2. Courses and webinars
Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and are payable in full at the time of booking.
Recorded webinars are available for the access period you choose when you buy, such as 48 hours, 1 month, 1 year or 3 years. Access starts at purchase and ends automatically at the end of that period.
Recordings and live sessions are streamed through a secure viewer. They cannot be downloaded.
We may update course content, dates or presenters where needed. If a change materially affects what you bought, we will offer you a transfer or a refund.

3. Live courses
Live courses run on the dates and in the format shown at booking, online or face to face. If we have to cancel or reschedule a course, you can transfer to another date or receive a full refund of the course fee. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur.

4. Courses booked through other organisers
Some public courses are booked through third-party organisers. When you book through them, their terms and conditions apply to that booking.

5. Cancellations and refunds
Live courses: if you cancel at least [30] days before the start date, we will refund the course fee less a [10%] administration fee. If you cancel later than that, no refund is given, but you may send a colleague in your place or transfer to a later date of the same course, once.
Recorded webinars: because access begins immediately, we do not give change-of-mind refunds once your access has started.
Technical problems: if you cannot access something you have paid for, contact us. We will fix the problem, extend your access or refund you.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

6. Our content and how you may use it
All course material, recordings, notes, equations, images and technical resources on this site belong to PETROPHYSICS Pty Ltd. When you buy a course or webinar, you receive a personal licence to use it for your own learning during your access period.
You must not share your login details, or download, print, copy, save, screenshot, record or redistribute any course content.
You are welcome to read and cite our free technical resources with acknowledgement of PETROPHYSICS Pty Ltd, but do not republish them.

7. Suspension
If you share your login or copy or distribute our content, we may suspend or close your account without a refund.

8. Liability
Our courses and materials are for education. Please read our Disclaimer. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to a course or webinar is limited to the fee you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or the outcome of any technical or commercial decision.

9. Consulting services
Consulting work is provided under a separate written engagement agreed with each client. These terms do not cover consulting services.

10. PetroDB-Vault
Information about PetroDB-Vault on this site is descriptive only. Any demonstration of, access to or use of PetroDB-Vault is governed by separate terms.

11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Western Australia.

13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one on this page when you booked.
